Hey, Hi, hello

My name is Aarica and I cannot count how many times my name has been mispronounced in my 30 years of life. Let me help you out: it’s just Erica.

I grew up right here in Northern Colorado, engaging with my creative side in so many different ways before settling into photography. I’ve been a musician, painter, writer and briefly, an actor. If you know anything about me, that last one should come as a surprise.

I’m not the kind of gal to get loud and rowdy at a party. I’m the kind of girl to sit quietly in the corner until I spot someone who looks like they need a friend. My goal in life has always been to make everyone feel comfortable and wanted right where they are.

You can usually find me at home with a cup of coffee, snuggled up under a blanket with my two cats even when it’s 90 degrees outside, watching HGTV on my iPad mini even though there is a perfectly good television right in front of me. 

I’m a lover of The Office, dad jokes, and “sweater weather.” I’m a TV connoisseur, eclectic music listener, and wish-I-read-more kind of reader. I have a story-telling kind of mind, and I bring that to my photography in a cross between the posed and the spontaneous.
